About This PositionAs member of a team in Montenegro/Serbia you will ensure quality of SAP-components for our software solutions which are used by our large international customers.Management and staff in Tungsten Automation's Quality Assurance job family help the company to assure that its products and technology solutions are designed and built in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.Responsibilities Of The Principal Engineer Position IncludeResponsible for larger or more complex departmental work, which often involves directing and overseeing the technical work of less experienced departmental staffAct as cross-functional project leader (when assigned)Give input into the department’s technical training plansAct as a lead departmental representative when working with other departments (e.g., Product Management, Technical Training, etc.)Principal Engineers will perform some, if not all, of the following tasks: Developing quality assurance standards, requirements and metrics for all Tungsten Automation products and their applications, as well as customer-specific technology solutionsIdentifying, acquiring and using industry best-practice equipment, systems and programs for conducting all product and solutions’ quality assurance testingWorking with cross-functional partners, such as Core Engineering and Product Management, to proactively evaluate product roadmaps and other innovations; contributing a specialist quality assurance perspective and providing such input and feedback into the development processDeveloping and executing against quality assurance test plans:Developing and maintaining automated test programs and scriptsDeveloping and executing against detailed test procedures and test casesCollaborating with cross-functional partners to resolve problems and identify root causes of potential defectsEvaluating and reporting on test execution resultsWorking within team and across departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and maintain quality assurance testing processes and practices; continuously contributing to streamlined, more effective and efficient quality assurance testingContributing, as appropriate, to downstream business activities such as technical publications and other technical communications’ tool development to ensure streamlined and effective end-user use of Tungsten Automation software products and their applicationsThrough efficient and effective quality assurance testing standards, tools, techniques and execution, helping Core Engineering and other cross-functional partners to maximize the potential for new or updated releases to be completed on-time, on-target, on-budget and without compromise to qualitySupporting other internal and external partners/stakeholders/customers, as and when appropriate, in responding to quality assurance testing inquiries and/or other ad hoc needsStaying abreast of industry and field developments; remaining current in the latest quality assurance testing technologies and functionalities, as well as ever-evolving needs of customers and their customersRequired Skills7+ years in software quality with 5+ years focused on SAP landscapes Strong grasp of CI/CD and quality engineering practices Familiarity with SAP Solutions Good business English (B2 or higher): able to lead technical discussions and decision-making with global stakeholders; write clear QA documents and executive-ready summaries.
