The OpportunityUserWise is developing a new mobile game based on a globally recognized entertainment IP - combining proven F2P systems with a fresh hybrid-casual approach.This is an unique opportunity to shape a new game from the earliest concept to launch, working directly with a veteran team that values creativity, iteration, and data-informed design. As one of the first core team members, you’ll have high ownership, high visibility, and direct impact on every aspect of the player experience - from the core loop and systems to the emotional beats that define how players engage and return every day.If you love building from zero, thrive on collaboration, and want to leave your mark on a globally backed new IP, this role gives you the autonomy, creative runway, and purpose-driven impact to do it.What You'll DoDesign, prototype, and balance the core and meta loops, including progression, rewards, economy, and monetization systems.Collaborate tightly with engineering, art, and production to iterate rapidly on prototypes and player experience.Define key KPIs and success metrics, then partner with analytics to interpret data and guide iteration.Design features that drive player motivation, engagement, and retention through psychological insight and reward pacing.Document systems clearly - from flow diagrams and tuning sheets to feature specs - ensuring clarity across disciplines.Deconstruct top casual and hybrid-casual hits to inform balancing, session design, and LiveOps systems.Help establish the game’s long-term design vision, shaping how systems evolve post-launch.What We're Looking For8–10 years of game design experience, including 5+ years in mobile F2P.Proven success designing casual or hybrid-casual games - ideally with live economy or progression systems.Strong grasp of player motivation, retention design, and economy balancing.Analytical mindset: experienced working with A/B testing, player metrics, and behavioral insights.Skilled in Excel/Sheets for economy work and Figma / diagram tools for flows.Thrives in small, fast-moving teams where autonomy, experimentation, and accountability go hand in hand.Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills for cross-discipline collaboration and documentation in a remote, international team.Nice to HaveExperience working with licensed IPs and navigating brand approvals.Hands-on proficiency with Unity - implementing, tuning, and validating gameplay systems directly, or experience in similar engines (Unreal, in-house, etc.).Basic scripting or technical design skills.Familiarity with AI-assisted development or gameplay systems, such as content generation, tuning automation, or adaptive difficulty.Why Join UserWiseHelp build a new mobile game from concept to launch, not just maintain one.Work on a globally recognized IP with real brand reach and growth potential.Collaborate with a veteran-led studio that prizes creativity, experimentation, and player-first thinking.High ownership, high visibility, and direct influence on how players engage with our product.100% remote, flexible work with a small, passionate, execution-focused team.As we scale post-MVP, you’ll play a key role in shaping our design culture and mentoring future designers.
