Job Description

Social Media Manager -Crisis ManagementSalary: €55-€76kContract length: 6 months with potential to extendLocation: Fully remote in IrelandWorking hours: full time 40 hours per week, must be able to work weekends+ public holidays and evening shifts. Please note that this role requires you to work Sunday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Saturday for 9 hours per day (including a 1 hour break) anywhere between 7am to 8pmA leading global community platform is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join its Channel Communications team.

In this role, you will support reputational risk management, contribute to issues and crisis response strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally across global teams. You’ll manage reactive and proactive communications across social platforms, provide campaign reporting, and help shape content and response playbooks. You’ll need excellent writing skills, a strong grasp of social listening tools, and experience handling sensitive, high-impact messaging. Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. Responsibilities:

Monitor emergent issues across social media channelsAbility to work cross functionally on communications initiatives involving Community Support and Trust operations, Policy, Regulatory, Corporate and Crisis ManagementDraft copy and publish content across different channelsAssist with developing playbooks and guidance on best practiceAssist with measuring campaign/project effectivenessSupport the team with the management of sensitive, high risk reactive & proactive communications on the company's social media channelsRequirements: Experience managing crisis communications in digital channelsComfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environmentsSkilled in stakeholder communications and social media publishing toolsAvailable for non-standard work schedules including weekendsNext steps to apply:
