Principle Software Engineer

Job DescriptionCONVO is seeking for a Principle Software Engineer to join our fast-paced team and play a key role in integrating, implementing, and supporting industry-leading Trade Promotion Management/Sales Force Automation solutions for global FMCG companies. Become a member of a hard-working team that designs, builds, and maintains high- performance scalable products for global CPG brands!Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, bug fixing, and operationsParticipate in customer project and work closely with the architects and functional consultants to design, integrate, and implement solutions that align to the customer requirementsSupervise the development, deployment of customer solutionsTogether with other Project and/or Support team members, provide development estimates for project and support engineering activityWith a shown focus on Continuous Improvement, carry out organizational coding standards and best ways.Write, test, and document well-structured code against designs that scales and meets customers’ functional and non-functional requirementsPromote production of quality software and partner with the QA team to ensure that the software we deliver has the highest quality outputTackle and address customer problems and software defectsWrite operational documentation with technical authorsCollaborate as part of self-organizing, multi-functional teamProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersCommunicate effectively on progress and ensure risks and issues are raised early to minimize impact on the deliveryRequirementsMinimum 10+ years of shown experience in software developmentAgile advocate and enthusiastExperience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applicationsDeep understanding of software applications architecture and infrastructureMust have sophisticated level of .Net, C# and HTML5/JavaScript, SQL and RDBMS architectureExperience with DevOps methodologies (CI/CD) and technologies (Microsoft DevOps solutions would be preferable).
