POSITION SUMMARY - FULL TIME IN ALPHARETTA, GAMust live local to Alpharetta, GA. We are seeking a detail-oriented Print Production Assistant to support our in-house print sample department. This role assists with preparing customer artwork, producing high-quality sample prints, and ensuring consistent accuracy throughout the production process. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a professional, customer-facing demeanor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare print files and perform light editing using Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorAssist in producing print samples under the supervision of the Lead DesignerOperate, maintain, and learn the functions of industrial inkjet printers (training provided)Evaluate print clarity, color, and alignment; identify and communicate when adjustments are neededTroubleshoot basic printer or file issues and escalate when necessaryCorrespond professionally with potential customers and distributors via email and, occasionally, in personMaintain accurate records of sample projects, timelines, and production notesManage project tasks independently when needed, while remaining aligned with department prioritiesSupport workflow efficiency and improvements in print quality and sample organizationOther duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorStrong attention to visual detail, including color accuracy and alignmentPersonable, professional communication skills for customer and distributor interactionAbility to learn technical processes quickly, including industrial printer operationStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projectsProblem-solving mindset and ability to work both collaboratively and independentlyFamiliarity with printing, inkjet systems, or print production is a plus but not requiredAbility to work on-site full-timeReliable attendance and availability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Positive attitude, flexibility, and a strong team-oriented mindsetABOUT THIS ROLEThis position works directly under the Lead Designer and Print Production Manager and plays an integral part in producing customer-facing sample prints. While initial communication and oversight will be closely guided, the role is designed to develop into greater independence as skills progress. It is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in both design and hands-on production who wants to build experience in the print and packaging industry.
