Private Cloud Developer

About the RoleLenovo is seeking a motivated and skilled Private Cloud Developer to join our private cloud R&D team. This role focuses on building and maintaining core components of Lenovo’s private cloud platform, including compute orchestration, storage management, and network virtualization. You’ll work with open-source technologies to deliver scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions that support enterprise workloads.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Development - Develop and maintain modules for compute, storage, and networking services within Lenovo’s private cloud platform.Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to implement scalable, high-performance infrastructure features.Enhance automation, monitoring, and deployment pipelines for private cloud services.Code Quality & Reliability - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Investigate and resolve issues in production environments, continuously improving system reliability and performance.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud platform development.Proficient in Java, Python, or Go.Familiar with open-source private cloud technologies such as OpenStack, KVM, and Ceph.Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other common databases.Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.Understanding of DevOps practices and agile (Scrum) development.Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.Experience with infrastructure monitoring, automation, or system performance tuning is a plus.#SSGNOVA
