About The CompanyWe are working with a private equity fund backed by a prominent family with offices in Paris and Los Angeles. Currently investing out of a $500mm vehicle, the firm invests $40-50 million equity checks with a long-term mindset across healthcare services, business services, and consumer services businesses in North America.ResponsibilitiesScreening and analysis of new investment opportunitiesAutonomous research on potential targets, markets, shareholders, and managementConducting intensive due diligence on company financials and dataBuilding detailed operating and LBO models to forecast future performance and returnsDrafting of comprehensive investment memorandum for presentation to the Investment and Strategic CommitteesMonitoring of current portfolio companies alongside investment partners and stakeholdersQualifications2-3 years of investment banking experience or private equity experienceExcellent academic background from a leading universityRequired SkillsStrong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skillsSophisticated communication and interpersonal prowessDeep intellectual curiosity for a variety of industriesPreferred SkillsExperience in private equity or investment bankingEqual Opportunity StatementBrainWorks is a premier executive search firm that delivers superior talent to drive business performance.
