Private Equity Associate

A leading pan-European private equity fund is seeking to add an Associate / Senior Associate to its investment team in London. The fund focuses on mid-market opportunities across Europe and has a strong track record of backing ambitious management teams and delivering long-term value creation.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market research, financial analysis, and due diligence on new investment opportunitiesBuild and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analysesSupport the execution of transactions, including deal structuring, documentation, and negotiationsWork closely with portfolio company management teams on strategic and operational initiativesPrepare high-quality materials for investment committees and senior stakeholdersMonitor performance of portfolio companies and support value creation projectsKey Criteria3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking (M&A) or private equityStrong technical skills in modelling, valuation, and transaction executionPrior experience in mid-market private equity is an advantageExposure to sectors such as B2B services, education & training, or industrials is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, lean team environmentFluent English (native or professional-level); additional European languages beneficialExperience studying, working, or living in the UK is advantageous and highly valued
