Private Equity Investment Manager

H&P is working with an established Private Equity Firm focusing on lower-mid market investments across Europe and looking for an Investment Manager to join its growing Amsterdam Team.Role Overview:Originate and evaluate investment opportunities by leveraging industry networks, intermediaries, and direct outreach, with a focus on identifying proprietary deal flow.Lead due diligence processes across financial, commercial, and operational areas, coordinating external advisors and managing junior team members’ analyses.Drive execution of investments, including leading negotiations, overseeing term sheet and SPA structuring, and managing all aspects of deal closing.Act as a key point of contact for portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance to management teams, monitoring performance, and driving value creation initiatives.Prepare and present detailed investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee, while ensuring ongoing transparent reporting on portfolio performance to senior leadership and LPs.Qualifications:Proficiency in German, native or bilingualStrictly 4 to 6 years of total experience, currently in small to Mid-cap Private Equity Proven deal-leadership abilitySelf-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independentlyStrong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environmentThis role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to a vibrant, growing firm and gain comprehensive experience in Private Equity.
