Job DescriptionA Polymer / Plastics Process Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our based Cork based MN medical device manufacturing client. Working within a multi-disciplinary team you have responsibility for new product and process development. Permanent role.ROLEWork with a multidisciplinary team to support new product and process introductions with a focus on PlasticsSelect components and equipmentDevelop plastic component specific testing and inspection protocolsComplete capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment right through to validationParticipate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generationExperience in developing processes for manufacturing plastic componentsExperience of Design for Manufacturing, capability studies, verification and validationRequirementsMust have a minimum of a Degree (level 8) in a suitable subject e.g. Engineering, PolymersAn infectious enthusiasm for problem solving3-5 years industry experience within plastics processing.
