About The RoleWe are looking for a Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and supporting continuous improvement initiatives both operational and administrative across our sites. You will plan, execute, and follow up on projects that enhance efficiency, service levels, and customer satisfaction, while fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.You will also support site operations with internal projects, moves, synergies, and area changes. A key part of your responsibility is to ensure that operational standards are consistently followed and continuously improved. This includes ensuring compliance with current processes as defined in work instructions and trainings, as well as identifying, developing, and implementing new standards that drive operational excellence. You will also contribute to future planning and customer implementations using tools like Abacus.The main tasks include:Communicate Objectives & KPIs to project team members, including tracking frequency, calculation methods, and reporting sources.Plan and align resource needs for ongoing and upcoming projects with Site Managers, Supervisors, and Coordinators.Review and approve the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI), ensuring timely updates and compliance.Conduct Gemba walks to identify inefficiencies and apply lean principles (TIMWOOD).Lead improvement initiatives with cross-functional involvement.Participate in customer meetings, audits, and support action plan execution and continuously follow up on team responsibilities throughout the improvement process.Execute business process quality & improvement plans and processes to achieve defined business objectives.Undertake process improvement initiatives in various areas such as sorting, warehousing, transportation and delivery operations to increase efficiency and quality to provide benefits to internal and external customers.Resolve issues, reconcile data and use a structured approach to understand process improvement needs and to estimate potential benefits.Suggest innovative process improvements and control methods, and develop them further.The role is a permanent employment on 100%, with the workplace located at our site in Borås.
