It's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly changing world.About The RoleThe Process Manufacturing Technician I will work with moderate oversight and be responsible for the duties associated with developing, supporting and analyzing product manufacturing processes and supporting product quality standards. This position will assist with the development, evaluation, and implementation of process improvements and new processes.This is a night shift position, working a 2-3-2 schedule, 6:55pm to 7:00am.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot existing machine operations and auxiliary processes and make necessary changes for optimum performanceCollect and analyze data to support process improvements.Work with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues related to production or product qualityPerform process sheet revisions as necessary and maintain accurate records of process changes.Train operators on new processes and/or communicate changes to existing processesInteract and initiate conversations with the engineering, production and quality teamsPerform toolroom functions as necessaryFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulationsPerform other duties as designated by the direct supervisorQualificationsCommunication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholdersTime Management - Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and goalsTeamwork - Ability to work well in a team environment, fostering collaboration and cooperationAttention to Detail - Ensuring accuracy in work product, documentation, and processes to maintain high standardsProblem-Solving - Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutionsAbility to work independentlyWorking knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and materials, preferredWorking knowledge of standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)Capable of following established technical guidelines and proceduresBasic knowledge of mechanical design concepts, manufacturing techniques, manufacturing/equipment processesEducation & ExperienceEducationHigh School education or equivalent required Trade school or associates degree preferred ExperienceMinimum 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environmentWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs401K plans with employer-matching contributionsTuition reimbursementPTOPaid holidaysVolunteer time offFor more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefitsLeviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
