Process Project Engineer

Our client is a niche multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy providing engineering design and construction of production processing plant, utilities and supporting infrastructure in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and biosciences industries.With existing mechanical, electrical, chemical process, and structural teams they are currently looking to expand their process engineering team, and as such are looking for a Senior and an Intermediate Process Project Engineer to join the team to undertake design and project management work.You will see projects through from concept to completion- being involved in scope & costings, concept and detailed design, and on-site project delivery. Key Responsibilities:Design and implement engineering process improvement solutions and development projects Manage project delivery including leading design, cost control and on-site commissioningBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients Manage project scope, budget, and timelines while assessing cost implications and negotiating variations.Mentor and develop junior engineers, supporting business planning and quality assurance efforts.To be successful in the role you will have:A tertiary engineering degree (Chemical / Process / Mechanical) qualificationProven design and project management experience working on industrial projects - preferably food and dairy industry projectsExperience seeing projects through from concept to onsite commissioningExperience with contract management, contractor management and contract variationsThis is an opportunity to work on a variety of design and build projects (new and upgrades) where you will see the results of your design through to completion.
