Procurement Assistant Manager

Procurement Assistant Manager is expected to work in the Procurement Department of Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Services Group located at Marport Terminal Operators in Beylikduzu/Istanbul.QUALIFICATIONS:University graduate preferably in faculty of Engineering, or Business AdministrationExcellent verbal and written skills in EnglishAdvanced level of MS Office Programs is requiredExperience with SAP-SRM/MM moduleMinimum 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably with knowledge of construction and technical purchasingExperience in construction investment projects and construction tender processes is highly preferredClass B driver’s licensePreferred to be mobileCompleted military obligation for male candidatesJOB DESCRIPTION:Organize demands of customers in accordance with the company’s procurement proceduresLead the sourcing activities for various spend categories, mainly investments/project procurement categoryLead projects efficiently and within the defined budget and timelineManage and develop procurement timelines and coordinate cross-functional resourcesResearch alternative suppliers through meetings and field visitsNegotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure qualityMonitor supplier performance and report any issues or discrepanciesManage and monitor purchasing performance in accordance with company policies and guidelinesManage supplier relationships efficiently and in line with the category strategyLead and organize meetings with stakeholders to follow up on issues and explore new opportunities for process improvement
