Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Business Manager - OperationsExecutive SummaryYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)This role is responsible for leading a team of sourcing category and procurement specialist to execute supply chain strategies supporting business operations for China primary switchgear product group by optimizing costs, quality, and services from suppliers to meet business needs and deliver supply chain KPIs. Ensure execution in compliance with P2P policy and proceduresMajor responsibilities: Lead primary switchgear procurement team to deliver KPIs including but not limited to, cost saving, cash improvement, fulfillment, supplier quality and sustainable supply chainFollow global & regional procurement guideline and procedure, and ensure compliance in all sourcing activities; responsible for supplier data maintenance and process optimizationLead/work with category managers to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business priorities, develop suppliers to meet current and future business requirementsResponsible for sourcing activities for both direct and indirect materials and services in Primary SWG; support operation team to improve supply chain efficiency and achieve operation excellence. Drive cost reduction for new product development via supplier selection and supply chain optimization to achieve product target-cost and business objectives. Collaborate with technology, engineering and operation team to develop and implement cost out projects via supplier innovation, POD and process optimization to improve business profitabilityResponsible for supplier quality, manage supplier audit and qualification, continuously reduce cost of failure and improve supplier quality performance People development, provide training and coaching to procurement teamRequirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or manufacturing related field and 5+ years managerial experience in operations or supply chain management in multinational companiesPassionate and capable of challenging status quo and driving changesExperience in electrical power industry is preferredExcellent communication and people skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing operation environment, ability to manage complex projectsAbility to identify opportunities, develop strategy and implement innovative solutions.Self-motivated, results driven, demonstrated leadership, and ability to take initiativesFluent in EnglishTravel is requiredGuidelines:Please be aware:All fields in yellow should be populated with relevant information (based on Job description and the Kick-off form).
