Job SummaryThe Procurement Manager is expected to elevate the bank's procurement function. We are looking for a candidate who will centralize procurement tasks, establish clear processes, and work with the procurement team in a structured way to ensure overall organization and greater visibility.This position will be responsible for the full supplier lifecycle and management, including supplier selection, commercial negotiation, and contracting. You will also manage in-life supplier relationships for a specific business area, working as part of the team to become the single point of contact for all procurement activities in that area.Job ResponsibilitiesA solid understanding of Tech products and services, including software, subscription, engineering services and cloud services, is essential for making informed procurement decisions.Drive and lead the team to deliver complex end to end sourcing activity including sourcing plan, tenders (RFI/RFP) and negotiations.Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify areas where savings can be achieved without compromising on quality or performance. This includes analysing total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) for IT purchases.Negotiate the contract and support the onboarding of the supplier through a robust due diligence process, including Third Party Risk Assessment and Outsourcing Assessment, to ensure the supplier meets the bank's regulatory standards and policies, while also delivering commercial value.Conduct periodical vendor evaluations to assess performance, quality, and compliance with contractual agreements (for Procurement Vendor only).Strong communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs, and providing clear guidance on procurement strategies.Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement regulations, and relevant legal requirements.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and other related documentation.To support the processing of invoices, in the absence of the PIC for all Business Unit/ Functional Unit (BU/FU) in the bank.Assist Finance team in the Cash flow tracking and projection.Works with the Finance team in advising/handling of Accruals/ Budgets.To assist in enhancing and maintaining the Oracle eProcurement solutions.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Admin, or any other related field.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Tech Procurement with proven negotiation skills with external service providers.Familiarity with Oracle ERP Fusion (Procure to Pay) will be an added advantage.Strong organisational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and market research.Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Open to Malaysian only
