Job Description
Actively contributes to the building of Purchasing Strategy for his categories and ensure its implementation. Develop and Implement policies and procedures of the Section. Monitors commodity markets and recommends stock coverage and Market prices. Build Product understanding (functionality) and constantly investigate with R&D to source new and alternative materials. Prepare category budgets and reports on monthly variance Track and report key functional metrics to reduce cost and improve effectiveness. Negotiates and animates continues improvement plans with the suppliers Ensures Purchase Orders are processed on time to avoid Out of Stock. Liases with insurance department and finance for order processing. Evaluates supplier for Quality / Cost / Delivery and recommends action. Performs Risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
