Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager $90-100/hr, 3-6 months Melbourne Inner-North Are you immediately available and looking for a contract in the field of Procurement Management? We are working on behalf of a large global corporation in the manufacturing industry. They employ 13k+ staff and operate internationally, turning over nearly $9.3B in revenue annually. This role will cover the duties of the current Procurement Manager on sick leave. You will be taking over the following duties: Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and compliance.Drive commercial and budgeting processes, supporting cost optimization, forecasting, and financial reporting for IT purchases and services.Coordinate and compile bid and proposal information for projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business needs.Partner with internal stakeholders — including IT, finance, legal, and project teams — to deliver strategic procurement and commercial outcomes.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, cost transparency, and supplier performance. You will have, advanced systems, communication and presentation skills and have a genuine ambition to assist a team in transition and deliver stability.Proven experience in procurement management.Strong understanding of contract negotiation, supplier management, and budget tracking.Experience working with ERP, procurement, or financial management systems.Excellent stakeholder (internal & external) engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
