The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strategic supplier relationships that drive cost efficiency and ensure product quality.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and manage the organization’s purchasing needs and prioritiesSource, research, and purchase quality products and raw materialsNegotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliersMaintain and update inventory records while managing stock levels efficientlyCoordinate transportation, track shipments, and ensure on-time deliveryMonitor market trends to make informed buying decisionsCollaborate closely with inventory, production, and management teamsManage supplier performance, quality, and compliance issuesEscalate and resolve discrepancies in stock quality or deliveriesQualifications Bachelor’s Degree (required) 4+ years of procurement experience (protein industry preferred – beef, chicken, pork, or specialty meats) Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Proven experience in supply chain and inventory management Excellent organizational and time management abilities
