Procurement Specialist -Egypt

DeFacto is looking for a Procurement Specialist, the job is based in Egypt Cairo Office, and will be responsible for all procurement functions of the entire Egypt. Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or relevant fields.· At least 5 years indirect procurement experience.· Having business mindset and contracting & negotiation skills.· Must have strong reporting, analytics, planning communication and problem-solving skills.· Self-disciplined, result-oriented team player with planning and organizational skills· Must be able to conduct necessary visits to south Iraqi cities where DeFacto Stores are based.Main Responsibilities:· Regional Procurement professional, leading both local and regional procurement projects/tenders, running RFIs/RFQs/RFPs with using tools like 7 steps of strategic sourcing, TCO (Total cost of ownership), cost breakdown etc.,· Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders,· Having an analytical and methodical approach to fully understand all category areas and analyze the market and industry data to influence solutions to support the procurement strategies which fulfil business requirements.· Negotiating on the scope of commercial, technical, and legal terms like cost/ payment/ delivery/warranty/service agreements,· To ensure adherence to corporate requirements, procedures and contracts· Carrying out supplier relations and conducting supplier research on a regular basis for current and new purchases· Developing alternative products and suppliers by conducting market research,· Responsible for domestic and international purchasing processes,· Conducting yearly evaluation of suppliers/vendors for projects and procuring product/services
