If you want a place where people love coming to work every day, keep reading:We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist with 5+ years of procurement / purchasing experience; preferably in oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or EPC to join our team! The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services to support upstream, midstream, and/or downstream oil & gas brownfield projects.We have a highly collaborative work environment that is supported through an in-office approach. Working side-by-side with other Capital team members and our clients brings out the best in us and produces exceptional results. This position will be in-person, with no hybrid option. There is the ability to choose either a standard 5-day work week, or a condensed 4-day work week.What are we looking for?5+ years of procurement / purchasing experience; preferably in oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or EPC Collaborate with project, operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify procurement needs, define specifications and ensure alignment with project timelines.Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including RFx (Request for Information, Proposal, Quotation) that ensure competitive bids, value optimization, and risk mitigation.Identify, evaluate, qualify, and maintain approved suppliers; perform vendor audits and assessments (including HSE, quality, capacity, insurance).Negotiate contracts, purchase orders, pricing, terms & conditions, guarantees, warranty, and delivery schedules.Monitor supplier performance, ensure supplier compliance, manage change orders/amendments and resolve supplier issues (quality, cost, delivery).Maintain procurement records, contract documentation, and supplier files to support audits and regulatory compliance.Track and report cost savings, cost avoidance, lead times, on-time delivery (OTD), and other procurement KPIs.Manage logistics related to procurement: expedite deliveries, import/export issues, customs, shipping, freight, any accessorial charges, etc.Support risk management: identify supply chain risks, ensure continuity of supply, manage inventory levels for critical spares and materials.Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, regulatory standards (including local content rules, environmental regulations, safety standards).Liaise with finance for budget planning, invoice reconciliation, and three-way match (PO, receipt, invoice).Stay updated on market trends, commodity pricing, supplier innovations, and geopolitical/logistical issues that could affect supply or cost.What do we value:Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.5-10 years of related experience;Fluency in both written and spoken English;A self-starter with strong technical, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.Experience in oil and gas, mining, and utilities facilities projects. Familiarity with procurement tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ERP modules, e‑sourcing platforms).Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Knowledge of contracts law, Incoterms, regulatory requirements, quality standards, HSE standards.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous procurements/projects.Must be capable of conducting field visits at client’s facilities as required.
