Procurement Specialist (Data & Governance)

Job DescriptionLead and manage high-impact end-to-end projects that interface with various departments/functionsDesign initiatives using analytical and conceptual problem solving to improve the Procurement processIdentify functional/product gaps and initiate projectsWork with functional stakeholders to lead and drive projects that enable cost reduction, business improvement, and transformationCommunicate strategies and objectives with relevant departments and colleaguesImplement any changes sensitively and with minimal disruptionCreate a system to evaluate the success of any adjustments made within the organization and present any findingsProcurement strategy, supplier panel, deploying Procurement levers for productivityBe compliant to Key Internal controlDrive sustainable productivity resultsOrganize all procurement activities relating to request for proposals, sealed bids, and price quotesIdentifies and leads sourcing and procurement process improvementsReview requisitions for completeness and accuracy; follow up on discrepancies with the initiating departmentIdentify available suppliers for each requisitioned itemMaintains database of contracts and supplier informationPerform general clerical duties such as maintaining general files, encoding data entry and completing and processing standard purchasing formsCorrespond with vendors regarding prices, product availability, and deliveryApplies and implements Strategic Sourcing best practices and processesMitigate risks and capture opportunities (short and mid term) for spend in CountryDrafts and edits commercial documents (RFPs, RFQs, Terms & Conditions, etc.)Assist in facilitating supplier performance reviewsIdentifies and leads process/continuous improvement effortsManage Expense and Procurement performanceMonitor savings and Procurement KPIsPerforms other duties as assignedAble to communicate well with different levelsRequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any fieldAt least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this positionDegree in Industrial Engineering or any relevant studyHigh proficiency in MS Excel is a minimum requirementFamiliarity with any financial tool/software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Negotiation and sourcing. Understands and applies commercial law concepts, contracts terms and conditions and vendor management in Marketing commodityCross functional team work, cross cultural competencyHighly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skillsPossesses initiative, resourceful and proactive attitudeAbility to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressureAbility to effectively organize, plan, control and prioritize work /projects
