Procurement Specialist (Remote)

Role : Buying and Purchasing Agent (AI Research Support – Remote)We are hiring for one of our prime clients, a leading AI research organization, seeking experienced Buying and Purchasing Agents to support next-generation machine learning systems. This role allows professionals to apply their procurement and purchasing expertise to improve AI understanding of supply chain, purchasing workflows, and vendor management.You will work independently to create deliverables, review peer work, and contribute domain-specific insights that enhance AI research and model training.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop deliverables addressing common tasks in purchasing, procurement, and vendor management.Review and provide feedback on peer-created content to ensure accuracy and quality.Maintain high standards of written communication, clarity, and consistency in all submissions.Contribute professional insights to AI datasets to improve system performance and reliability.Ideal Qualifications4+ years of professional experience in buying, procurement, or purchasing roles.Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote, asynchronous environment.More About the OpportunityWork Type: Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible schedule.Expected Workload: Approximately 30 hours per week, with flexibility to increase up to 40 hours.Project Duration: Around 3–4 weeks.Start Date: Immediate.Compensation & Contract TermsEngagement is on an independent contractor basis.Hourly compensation, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.Payments are based on services rendered, with contractors maintaining full control over their schedule and methods.
