This is a pivotal role where your expertise in procurement and leadership will drive the success of ACC’s transformational initiatives.What You’ll AchieveStrategic Procurement ManagementAnalyze contract documents to define project-specific procurement requirements and ensure compliance with specifications.Research and identify reliable sources for materials, fostering a robust network of local and international suppliers and subcontractors.Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier and subcontractor database for effective procurement tracking.Supplier and Subcontractor RelationshipsEstablish and nurture strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors.Evaluate and select partners based on their ability to meet project specifications and deadlines.Oversee procurement status reports to guarantee timely updates and progress tracking.Collaboration and CompliancePartner with the Quality Assurance team to address quality-related matters, including supplier and subcontractor evaluations.Manage and regularly update the Approved Supplier and Subcontractor List to reflect the latest compliance standards.Market Analysis and Cost OptimizationMonitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and financial forecasts to optimize procurement strategies.Identify alternative sources to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.Ensure orders align with procurement schedules and facilitate seamless delivery.Documentation and ReportingOversee the preparation and comparison of competitive quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.Approve procurement documentation and maintain accurate records for project transparency and accountability.What You’ll Bring to ACCQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.Minimum of 13 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.Skills and Competencies:Expertise in procurement software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (spoken and written).Strong knowledge of procurement logistics, shipment coordination, and customs clearance.Deep understanding of market trends, cost management, and supplier evaluation.Key Traits:Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational and team management skills.Ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.Attention to detail and commitment to achieving project goals efficiently.Why ACC?At ACC, we foster a culture where collaboration and innovation drive success, and professional growth is a key priority.
