To achieve our 2030 vision, gaining an edge by investing in our product application team is more important than ever.As the Product Application Engineer for Die Casting applications, you will interact with our Japan based key customers, translating their needs into innovative product solutions in coordination with the R&D, sales and marketing teams. You will visit clients mainly in the Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo area supporting our ambitious growth plans for the Japanese market.What will you do?Responsible for technical product application support to the sales team. Participating in the presales and post sales technical support activities focusing on the Die Casting applications market in Japan.Visiting frequently the customer production sites within Japan, you will able to identify and understand customer needs, translating the objective to the appropriate function in the company, such as R&D. Key customers are within the Automotive Die Cast parts market.Co-ordinate with other functions to determine and establish technical feasibility and product cost as input for the final offer.Hold presentations to customers on technical/product related subjects in co-operation with sales/key account manager.Propose product modifications in order to fulfill customer specific needs or requirements.Maintain highest EHS standards.What do we look for?Experience: Solid experience within the Die Casting in an engineering or operations role such as : process engineer, manufacturing engineer, production manager, maintenance engineer or similar.Candidates with a similar Product/Technical Support experience in other industrial fluids companies will be considered.Automotive metal part manufacturing knowledge is highly valued.Languages: Fluent English and Japanese are a mustLocation: Field based role within Japan.
