Company DescriptionAt the Syngenta Group, our 56,000 people across more than 90 countries strive every day to transform agriculture through tailor-made solutions for the benefit of farmers, society and our planet – making us the world's most local agricultural technology and innovation partner.Website - https://www.syngentagroup.com/LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/syngentagroup/posts/?feedView=allJob DescriptionWhat is unique or interesting about this job?Exposure to Global Product Costing for all Seeds countries across all regions (Foundation/Non foundation) entitiesExposure to different country costing requirements.Work together with Global product / management reporting teamWhat is the purpose of the job?Deliver Product costing requirements for different entities / countriesEnhancing Master Data AccuracyAct as Subject matter expert in relation to product costing activities.Standardizing the process, finding gaps and improving the performanceSupport Continuous improvements in the process, in line with the digital strategy.Smooth Delivery of Annual Budgeting activitiesBusiness Process Reporting (BPR) What are the main activities the person in the job is responsible for?Cost Roll up and release in SAP though Workflow (WF) activities ensuring cost correctness.Review and release of Cost Validation report to Global StakeholderAnalysis and inputs on Cost audit during Budget cost submissionTransfer price (TP), Sales / Purchase Info Records (SIR / PIR) MaintenanceEnsuring Master data maintenance / correctnessTesting and Implementing System enhancements / ChangesSystem Alignment for Cost and Purchase Price Table (PPT) with reporting systemsYear End Rollover and Cost releaseUses best practices and knowledge to support continuous improvement for processes/servicesCollaborate with Management reporting team to ensure data quality and output are reliable and meeting defined performance KPI’sIndependently perform the activities with minimum supervision; provide regular status updates, issues & resolutions to the Team Leader / Supervisors.Experience To Be Gained In The JobUnderstanding of Syngenta Products and Product Costing methodology used.Experience working with different finance teams in a given geography/ and absorbing business knowledgeTechnical development in finance skillsWorking with digital finance process optimizationQualificationsExperience required for the jobEssential6 -7 years of experience in Product costing and ReportingConcern for high standards and data accuracyAbility to communicate effectivelyExperience with ERP systems preferably SAPShould have sound knowledge on Product costing.Ability to effectively work in a team Desirable Skills :– the ‘nice to haves’Collaborative skillsExperience to have worked in Digital EnvironmentKnowledge / experience in VBA / Macro coding.Minimum Education And Critical Knowledge Required For The JobHolds Finance Qualification: B.com, CMA / CA / MBAFluent in English
