They manage product development through third-party manufacturers, ensuring every sample, document, and approval meets the customer ’ s spec and Atelier ’ s standards of quality, speed, and data hygiene. PDMs turn briefs into physical reality — fast, flawless, and fully documentedWhat we're looking forA great PDM:Operates with meticulous structure and speed — no loose ends.Is deeply fluent in manufacturing — speaks both supplier and brand language.Brings calm precision under pressure.Turns feedback loops into momentum loops.Enables the IL to focus on strategy and relationships by owning the operational core. Is trusted by suppliers, relied on by ILs, and invisible only because everything “just works.”What You'll OwnTechnical Development & SamplingCoordinate all sample development between Atelier and suppliers.Manage timelines to ensure samples meet Atelier’s SLA. Validate formula and packaging specs against customer benchmarks.Review all samples for performance, visual, and functional quality before submission. Ensure suppliers meet ALL process requirements and deliverables on a per sample basis.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain full traceability for every SKU: INCI, testing, compliance and regulations. Ensure all documentation is complete before samples are shipped or approved. Manage Wrike records with 100% data accuracy. Ensure adherence to Atelier’s Supplier SLA. Supplier Management Act as the day-to-day contact for assigned suppliers. Train and coach suppliers on Atelier’s communication and documentation standards. Provide precise, actionable and thorough feedback. Track supplier performance against SLA metrics and flag issues early. Process & Risk Management Anticipate packaging and formulation risks; identify mitigation strategies early.Partner with Innovation Leads on pre-mortems to address supplier and technical dependencies. Escalate development issues with context, evidence, and recommended solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement — propose new systems or automations to reduce manual work. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work hand-in-glove with Innovation Leads to ensure all projects are aligned on timelines and documentation.Coordinate with Growth on supplier handovers and engagement.
