This role bridges creativity and compliance — ensuring that every Pacifica product meets the highest global standards for safety, regulatory accuracy, and brand integrity.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-driven, and proactive, with experience in managing compliance systems, ingredient documentation, and regulatory submissions across multiple markets. You'll collaborate closely with Product Development, Quality, and our external regulatory consultants to ensure all formulas, packaging, and claims are fully compliant and launch-ready.Location: RemoteSalary Range: $70,000-$75,000 (based on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Documentation & SystemsManage and maintain PIFs (Product Information Files) and supporting documentation for global marketsOversee ingredient reviews and submissions through WERCS, Novi Connect, and UL databasesEnsure timely and accurate updates of formula data, allergens, SDS, and labeling requirementsMaintain product compliance tracking, including MoCRA requirements, FDA registration, and responsible person documentationCross-Functional CoordinationPartner with Product Development, Packaging, Quality, and Operations to ensure all formulas and packaging meet global regulatory standardsCollaborate with external regulatory consultants and testing labs to secure product registrations, claims substantiation, and stability/safety testingSupport marketing and creative teams with compliant copy, ingredient transparency, and claim language reviewProduct Testing & ComplianceCoordinate product safety testing, stability, preservative efficacy, and compatibility studiesEnsure all finished products meet applicable EU, UK, Canadian, and US regulatory requirementsMonitor and interpret changes in regulatory frameworks impacting beauty, skincare, haircare, and fragrance categoriesData Management & Process OwnershipManage all documentation control related to formulas, safety reports, testing data, and ingredient disclosuresMaintain organized and current regulatory folders for both in-development and in-market productsAssist in developing internal systems and templates to streamline compliance and reportingCreate, maintain, and validate master data for items and BOMs in ERPPartner with cross-functional teams (Planning, Procurement, Finance, Regulatory, Logistics) to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business needsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biology, Regulatory Affairs, or related field1-3 years of experience in product development or regulatory affairs, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, or consumer packaged goodsStrong understanding of global cosmetic regulations (U.S. FDA, EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009, Canada, China NMPA a plus)Experience with INCI labeling, ingredient safety, and product claims substantiationExcellent attention to detail and project management skillsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesProficiency in MS Office and familiarity with systems such as Devex, WERCS, or SAP/NetSuite a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEmployee discounts on Pacifica Beauty productsA supportive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, creativity, and innovationMeaningful work that makes a positive impact on people and the planetJoin Pacifica Beauty in our mission to redefine beauty and inspire conscious living.
