Job Description

Key Responsibilities- Market & Product StrategyDevelop and execute the overall brand, product, and market expansion strategy for Australia. Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory policies to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.- Product Planning & LocalizationDrive the end-to-end product lifecycle. Lead local market research to define customer needs, translate insights into detailed product requirements, and manage the adaptation of global products for the Australian market to ensure superior competitiveness.- Compliance & Certification ManagementOwn the full product compliance lifecycle. Manage all certification processes to ensure products meet and exceed Australian standards, and maintain ongoing regulatory adherence.- Go-to-Market & Launch ExecutionPlan and lead successful product launches. Develop pricing, channel, and promotional strategies in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve market share and brand reputation goals.- Cross-functional & Team Leadership Act as the key liaison between HQ and the local team. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing local Marketing & Product team to execute the strategy effectively.Requirements- Experience - Minimum of 8 years in product management, marketing, or strategy roles within automotive. - At least 3 years in a leadership position is required. - Proven track record of launching and managing products in the Australian market is essential.- Core Skills - Strong expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and product lifecycle management. - In-depth knowledge of the Australian regulatory and product compliance landscape. - Excellent strategic thinking and business planning capabilities.
