As an independent consultancy, we choose to partner with leading technology providers and give valuable guidance to help our clients.TasksAs a Product Engineer you will be working on the Zentso middleware ‘CloudToolz’, developing new functionality and/or implementing client requirements. You will be responsible for implementing solutions as part of larger projects and smaller tasks. You may be required to discuss with clients their business needs and translate these into best practice and best value solutions.Main dutiesDeveloping and delivering elements of work individually and as part of a wider team on various projectsMeeting with and discussing technical requirements with clients and providing solution recommendations focusing on value and benefits to the clientTraining clients on their solution as built by youWorking on any other technical projects, internal or external, as required.Other responsibilitiesCommitment to maintain and contribute to the inclusive, friendly culture at ZentsoMay need to occasionally work outside of normal hours to ensure projects are completed on timeUndertake training to ensure your knowledge is kept up to dateYou will log all time in Zentso’s project management systemRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths or PhysicsExperience with .NET and C# - writing C# web apps and web APIs (2 years’ experience preferred)Experience with frontend technologies such as Javascript, CSS, HTMLGood understanding of database design and performance and ability to write SQLBonus: Experience working with Azure infrastructure and building CI/CD pipelinesExperience of working in the non-profit sector or a passion to do soStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to accurately scope, plan and estimate the level of effort for tasks and take ownership of tasksAbility to work well with othersWell organised, attention to detail and can self-manage your time effectivelyBenefitsPlace of work: The role requires at least 3 days working from our Berlin office in Friedrichshain, close to Samariterstrasse and Frankfurter Allee.Salary: Dependent on experienceHours of work: 37.5 per week, flexible working hoursHoliday entitlement: 25 days per yearLocal gym benefitPlease add a cover letter explaining why you are a good fit for the job.
