Product Innovation and Business Development Lead

Job Title: Product Innovation & Business Development LeadJob Summary: We’re seeking a dynamic Product Innovation & Business Development Lead to help drive the growth and evolution of NeuroFlex’s cutting-edge VR-enabled medical device solutions.Based in Canada, you’ll lead cross-functional collaboration between engineers, designers, and healthcare experts to shape new product features, manage risk across the development lifecycle, and ensure our innovations meet the highest regulatory and clinical standards.On the business side, you’ll build and strengthen partnerships with healthcare organizations, universities, and research institutions — driving adoption and identifying new market opportunities. You’ll also represent NeuroFlex in product demos, client training or servicing, and industry events, helping translate complex technology into meaningful user value.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams in the development and enhancement of NeuroFlex’s VR-enabled medical device products.Oversee product innovation initiatives, including feature design, data analysis, and protocol development.Develop product risk management content in compliance with medical device standards (e.g., ISO 13485).Collect and integrate feedback from internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous product improvement.Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, universities, research institutions, and other strategic partners.Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.While focusing on the North American market and working closely with our teams in UK, South Africa and Australia, conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and in-servicing for new and existing clients, ensuring effective product adoption and satisfaction.Provide ongoing technical support and servicing coordination for clients to maintain optimal product performance.Translate complex technical and clinical concepts into clear, value-driven communication for clients.Qualifications7+ years in product management or business development within medical devices, SaMD, or digital health.Experience with VR/AR technologies (Unity experience a plus) and prior exposure to and understanding of vestibulo-ocular reflex.Strong understanding of ISO 13485 and regulated product environments.Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and clinical stakeholders.If you’re passionate about innovation at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and neuroscience, we’d love to hear from you.
