Singlife is growing at an exceptional rate driven by a growing portfolio of partnerships with platforms like GCash, where we make our meaningful insurance propositions more accessible to the wider market.JOB OVERVIEWOversee the company’s overall product portfolio from strategic planning, product performance tracking, and implementation of initiatives to ensure product deliver the targeted value to the company.Deliver innovative and customer-centric life insurance solutions.Lead the Product Management Team in maintaining and implementing the Product Governance PolicyEnsure that all products, policy contracts and all policy forms have been reviewed, agreed and endorsed prior to submission to the Insurance Commission.Ensure all involved in the product approval process have agreed to meet their respective accountabilities before a product is launched. o Carry out due diligence and document all relevant actions taken by the PMT in relation to the product approval process for audit purposes and make these available upon request to authorities such as the Insurance Commission.Submit reports and assist the management to effectively control the risks posed by the company’s insurance products.Actively review the product portfolio and provide recommendations to management on appropriate product actions.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESDrive the company’s overall product strategy and set the roadmap to align with the overall business objectives.Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, customer needs, to inform product development decisions and ensure the company continues to deliver innovative and best in class insurance and investment solutions.Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch management to ensure the product remains relevant, compliant and profitable.Lead the Product Management Team (i.e., Actuarial and Underwriting, Sales and Marketing, Operations, Legal and Compliance, and Platforms) to ensure that the product delivered meets customer needs, regulatory requirement, and company objectives.Manage relationship with external stakeholders e.g. reinsurers, distributors, regulators.Oversee the administrative functions of the Product Management Team to ensure that the governance body will fulfill its objective and decisions and processes are well documented.QUALIFICATIONSEducation level: Bachelor’s DegreeYears of Experience: At least 5 years of experience in relevant field and has handled digital platform/s in the past, preferably in the financial services space.Highly influential, organized, and resourceful, strong communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, strong work ethics and highly collaborativeAdept in technological trends, and comfortable working in highly digital work settingSimilar work experience in a Multi National Life Insurance Company, strong investment acumen, and knowledge of regulatory requirements, a plus.
