A Snapshot of Your DayThe morning starts with a stand-up meeting with the development team about the current product improvement activity. You explain a new functionality required to the product you have elaborated in meetings with various customers.In the cross-functional team you set tend the day with the team meeting with the other Product Managers, where you exchange on the latest trends and give some advice on how to solve a technical issue you already faced with your products in service.How You’ll Make An ImpactResponsible for the complete lifecycle of specific gas insulated high voltage switchgearsListen to and understand market trends, customer, and partner feedback, evaluate product opportunitiesMonitor market and perform technical/commercial analyses of competitor productsCreate and maintain business plans to define the most rewarding product developmentsDefine development activities for portfolio optimization, specify their requirements and supervise their realizationCreate product strategy and define the product development roadmapAssure smooth factory and market introduction of portfolio optimizationsEnable a high-performing culture focusing on learning and continuous improvement, with an engaged and motivated workforceMonitor product performance and trigger ongoing improvementsWhat You BringUniversity degree or equivalent experience in engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar)Several years of professional experience in product management, technical sales, project management or commissioning of switchgearsKnowledge of high voltage switchgears and their componentsExpertise in market introduction of products in collaboration with global sales organizationsBasic skills in business administration, marketing, negotiation techniques and presentation techniquesInternational experience either outside of the home country or in a global organization is a plusBeing proactive, dynamic, decisive & results-oriented, as well as a team player with strong interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills in EnglishAbout The TeamOur Grid Technologies division enables a reliable, balanced, and digital grid.
