Product Management Specialist

Job Position: PRODUCT MANAGEMENT OFFICERReports To: GROUP PRODUCT MANAGERNo. of Direct Reports (if applicable): NONEKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeads the development and implementation of new general insurance products and required enhancements of the existing productsAssists the Product Manager in creating product propositions for digital and partnerships, and various distribution channelsAssists in the identification of current and new market trends and opportunities, conduct market scan to usher in business growthPrepares product performance and monitoring reports on a regular basisEnsures overall product compliance with internal and external policies and regulationsEnsures relevance of insurance products is maintained relative to competition, market trends, and customer feedbackOversees communication with internal units such as IT, Finance, Operations, and Marketing, regarding updates or changes to the productsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree or above in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics or Integrated Marketing CommunicationsAt least 5 years of insurance product development experience in a life or non-life insurance firmExtensive understanding of local regulatory requirements on general insurance products, preferably with experience in product submissions and filing with the Insurance CommissionKeen interest in InsurTech and digital insuranceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independentlyEffective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skillsWORK SCHEDULEMondays to Fridays, 8AM to 5PM (subject for extensions depends on the urgency of the request and/or deadlines)WORK LOCATIONOona Center, Acacia Ave., Madrigal Business Park, Muntinlupa
