Descripción We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the implementation and scaling of AI-driven features across Sage’s HR & Payroll portfolio, spanning web, mobile, utilizing Sage’s domain-service layers. This role bridges AI, design, customer thinking and delivery, shaping how intelligence and automation are built into the Sage's products and how they simplify work and save time to employers and employees. You’ll collaborate closely with AI teams, product engineering, backend service owners, and experience teams to define, deliver, and measure the success of agentic and data-driven capabilities within HR & Payroll ecosystem.*** This is a hybrid position - working 3 days a week from our Barcelona office. *** Responsabilidades principales Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Take ownership for shipping the AI-backed initiatives to enhance the HR & Payroll proposition across web and mobile. Drive initiatives from ideas and mock-ups to documented and tested concepts, to the execution with the technical team and collecting customer impact. Facilitate the ceremonies to bring the deliveries from requirements to in-life management. Scope the initiatives and work items and own them for the designated technical teams; collaborate with other product and squad leaders to ensure dependent workstreams are resolved. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and direct customer & partner discovery to identify new opportunities and pain points relevant to HR & Payroll automation using smart workflows. Maintain tight connection with product delivery leaders, squads and their members, as well as customer-facing teams, go-to-market collective, IT, fellow product managers, product marketing and other stakeholders to ensure successful go-live, adoption, compliance and data-responsible operation of AI capabilities. Support and drive the decision-making around prioritization by supplying empathic, data-aware, and commercial evidence. Define and track KPIs, leveraging analytics tools to measure adoption, usage, and business impact of AI features. Support and feed the requirements for shared and domain/cross-segment services. Provide regular feedback and coaching, ensuring colleagues understand your product tactics, values, and customer behaviors. Build a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and wellbeing.Skills, know-how and experience:Must have: 4+ years of experience in Product Management for SaaS or platform products, delivering HR or Payroll features at scale with exposure to AI/ML-driven architectures, prompt orchestration, or agentic design concepts. Experienced in designing user stories, briefs, acceptance criteria, user journeys, wireframes, and mood boards, with excellence in storytelling and framing context to guide teams toward the right outcomes. Analytical and experiment-driven, skilled at running proof-of-concept initiatives, distilling insights, and translating outcomes into clear product direction. Proactive and self-directed, able to initiate, own, and deliver work both independently and collaboratively within teams. Strong decision-making and prioritization skills, focused on extracting maximum value and communicating clear rationale to stakeholders. Deep understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and API-based architectures across web and mobile, with proven ability to connect technical narratives to customer-facing outcomes. Hands-on with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Pendo, using data to inform and optimize product decisions. Continuous learner and detail-oriented operator, comfortable drilling into product and data layers to uncover insights. Experienced in leading and influencing across matrixed, cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive delivery. Proven record of delivering and scaling cloud products in collaboration with software architects, engineers, and designers.
