Product Manager AI & Data Strategy

Renowned companies from a wide range of German industries place their trust in us - demonstrating the outstanding expertise and commitment of our engineers.Position: Product ManagerLocation: Hamburg or BremenType: Full-time/ %90 RemoteMinimum Requirements:A completed education or degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field of study.At least 3 years of experience in a strategic role, in project or product management for AI systems or software, including at least 1 year in product management.Excellent communication and presentation skills (at least one project assignment as a project manager, coordinator, or interface to a business department or similar).Requirements:Experience in applying methods for roadmap development, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management.Practical knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.Experience with creative innovation methods, such as Design Thinking or Systematic Inventive Thinking (SIT).Experience in the design and facilitation of ideation workshops.Experience in managing (project leadership) of software products that utilize classifying or generative AI models(development activities in this area are not considered).Experience in creating business cases for AI initiatives.Experience in tracking and measuring the success of AI initiatives.Knowledge of processes and workflows within statutory health insurance (GKV) is desirable, ideally with a focus on benefits and market areas.Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., Professional Scrum Master) is desirable.Knowledge of data warehouse (DWH) applications is an advantage (refer to projects with this focus).Project Experience:Experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable role within a statutory health insurance (GKV) in one of the following areas (at least 6 months, please describe your role and project details):Product management/project leadership of a cross-departmental, AI-supported knowledge management system for a GKV (e.g., inpatient care, medical aids), using LLM-based extraction, summarization, and semantic search (RAG) including re-ranking for health and legal documents (court rulings, contracts, guidelines) to optimize internal knowledge management.Product management/project leadership of LLM-based extraction, structuring, and summarization of medical service reports in the nursing or health insurance sector to make information available in a process-optimized manner.Product management/project leadership for AI-supported analysis of medical aid applications and prediction of approval probability as well as expected control revenue to enable dark processing and prioritization of applications.Product management/project leadership for AI-supported detection and analysis of unusual prescribing behavior of outpatient providers in the areas of medical aids, remedies, sickness benefits, and hospitals, enabling benchmarking of providers.Product management/project leadership of machine learning models based on claims and billing data for predicting the probability of initial diagnoses or disease progression to improve targeted patient engagement.Product management/project leadership in (AI-supported) process optimization or automation for the approval and/or billing of travel cost claims.Product management/project leadership of AI-supported analysis of sick leave and sickness benefit cases to assist in managing relevant benefit cases.What we offer:• Join a cosmopolitan and internationally mixed team: We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and cultures to contribute their unique perspectives and talents to our team.• Polish your German language skills: If you are looking to improve your German language skills, we offer a supportive environment where you can practice and develop your language abilities: whether you are a beginner or an advanced speaker.• Benefit from a fixed contact person from the company: We understand the importance of having a reliable point of contact within the company.
