Product Manager (APAC)

Product Manager (APAC, Japan & Korea; Based in Japan&Shenzhen)Job Responsibilities1.Product Research & Analysis:Conduct competitive product research in the Asia-Pacific target market, study industry and competitor financial reports, and deliver in-depth research and analysis conclusions to support strategic decision-making.2.Product Development & Packaging:Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and cross-functional teams to define product R&D upgrade directions and packaging strategies, ensuring alignment with BGI’s core goals in advancing life science technologies.3.Product Training & Promotion:Provide business support for the sales team, develop promotion toolkits (e.g., product PPTs, sales manuals), and empower market promotion initiatives to enhance product penetration in global markets.4.Technical Support:Respond to the needs of sales teams and clients, offering professional technical support including product parameter interpretation and application scheme design, especially for NGS and spatial single-cell related products.5.Project Management & Optimization:Oversee the implementation of product-related marketing projects, track the entire product lifecycle, and drive iterative upgrades and user experience optimization to maintain product competitiveness.6.Training & Presentation:Regularly organize product training sessions for sales teams and internal collaborating departments; conduct irregular client training, and participate in overseas Workshops, Seminars, and other events to deliver professional presentations on BGI’s technologies and products.Qualifications1.Education & Background:Master’s degree or above, with a background in biology, medical clinical research, or related fields; proficiency in English as a working language, and Japanese language skills are preferred.2.Work Experience:At least 2 years of relevant work experience, with priority given to candidates who have experience in the NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) and spatial single-cell fields; willingness to accept overseas business trips (accounting for 40% of working time).3.Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with prior market-related work experience in NGS and spatial single-cell products (consistent with BGI’s core technology focus) will be given priority consideration.
