We are a fast-moving, product-driven company that works closely with customers and partners to solve complex operational challenges and modernize governance operations through an AI-forward approach.Role OverviewAs a Product Manager at Athennian, you help shape how modern governance operations are built for some of the world’s most complex organizations. Working closely with engineering, design, and customers, you identify meaningful problems and turn them into products that bring clarity and efficiency to corporate structures.This role is suited for someone motivated to build impactful software alongside talented teams. It requires strong product judgment, curiosity, and the ability to move quickly while making thoughtful decisions that advance the platform. You bring a collaborative mindset, learn from those around you, step in to guide when needed, and build strong partnerships across teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for our customersKey ResponsibilitiesTalk to customers often. Develop a deep understanding of how legal, finance, and governance teams operate and where their workflows break downSet product direction and roadmap priorities, balancing customer needs, company goals, and technical feasibilityPartner closely with Engineering and Design to turn complex problems into thoughtful, well-built product solutionsMake clear product decisions using customer insight, market context, and commercial inputs such as pricing, packaging, and segmentationWork with Sales, Support, and Implementation to ensure product launches are well understood and successful for customersDefine product requirements and user stories that help engineering teams build efficiently while maintaining a high bar for qualityStay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and how governance operations are evolvingUse AI tools in day-to-day product work to prototype ideas, accelerate discovery, and explore new ways to solve customer problemsIdentify opportunities where emerging technologies, including AI, can meaningfully improve customer workflowsRequired Experience:3+ years of product management experience building B2B SaaS productsA track record of owning product areas from discovery through launch and iterationStrong product judgment and the ability to make thoughtful trade-offs in fast-moving environmentsExperience working closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality productsComfortable leading customer discovery and translating insights into product decisionsFamiliarity with AI tools and curiosity about how emerging technologies can improve products and workflowsClear communication and the ability to align teams around product direction and outcomesPrevious experience in a startup/scale up environment Nice to Have Skills:Experience working in Legal-tech, Fintech, or other complex enterprise software environmentsLocationWe have embraced a distributed model of working to reach the best talent in the world.
