The team is lean, mission-driven, remote, and building for long-term impact—and is seeking sharp, strategic product thinkers to help scale both the product and the purpose.About The RoleThe company is seeking a Product Manager – Product Innovation who thrives in ambiguity—someone who can take ideas from zero to one, move quickly from concept to prototype, and learn through real user impact. This individual will drive experimentation across the platform, shaping new ways for educators to create and for students to engage.The ideal candidate should be both strategic and hands-on—able to connect insights about teaching and learning with a strong technical understanding of how the platform works and how to improve it. This person will identify emerging opportunities and translate them into tangible products by validating bold ideas through rapid prototyping, user testing, and cross-functional delivery, shipping features that redefine how teachers and students use the platform.This role sits within the Product Innovation team, where new user experiences and capabilities that push the platform forward are explored and developed. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, data scientists, and educators to identify opportunities, validate ideas, and deliver high-quality, technically robust solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDiscovery Identify and validate new opportunities to enhance how educators and students interact with the platform. Lead 0→1 product discovery, defining problems and opportunities where the solution isn’t yet clear. Use data insights, user research, and rapid experimentation to shape hypotheses and uncover high-impact ideas and educator use cases. Collaborate with design and engineering partners to rapidly prototype and test new concepts, balancing creativity with technical feasibility. Frame product bets that combine educational value, technical innovation, and strategic potential.Execution Drive end-to-end product development for early-stage ideas, from initial concept through to first release. Translate ambiguous ideas into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics. Partner closely with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and architectural scalability as prototypes evolve toward production. Facilitate rapid iteration and lightweight delivery, enabling the team to learn quickly and adapt based on results. Maintain a bias toward action and experimentation, ensuring forward momentum even amid uncertainty.Iteration Analyze usage data, engagement patterns, and learning outcomes to evaluate the impact of new features. Refine early-stage products through A/B testing, user feedback, and post-launch insights. Continuously improve product quality, usability, and performance through data-driven iteration. Capture and share learnings from each experiment to inform future 0→1 initiatives.Stakeholder & Scaling Champion educator and student perspectives, ensuring every innovation enhances real-world teaching and learning. Partner across product, engineering, and commercial teams to integrate validated experiments into the core platform. Communicate discoveries and progress with clarity, building trust and excitement around innovation efforts. Contribute to defining the operating model for 0→1 innovation, helping the team establish repeatable methods for testing, validating, and scaling new ideas.Required Qualifications 4–6 years of product management experience, ideally in a SaaS or consumer-facing product environment. Proven experience with AI-driven product development, including generative AI or recommendation systems across a spectrum of use cases. Demonstrated ability to work with technical teams—comfortable discussing APIs, data models, and system architecture at a conceptual level. Experience leading end-to-end product development cycles, from ideation and discovery through delivery and measurement. Strong ability to translate user needs into clear product requirements and actionable priorities. Demonstrated ability to prototype and test quickly, using lightweight design and validation methods. Experience with data-informed decision making, including setting success metrics, analyzing engagement data, and using A/B testing or experimentation frameworks. Proven track record of shipping user-facing products that improve engagement, usability, or retention. Strong collaboration skills—able to communicate effectively with engineers, designers, and stakeholders. Curiosity and creativity—a passion for exploring emerging technologies (AI, personalization, adaptive learning, etc.) and turning them into real user value. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications Experience working on education technology, content creation tools, direct-to-consumer SaaS or PLG product Background in education technology, B2C software, or marketplaces Technical background (e.g., computer science, data science, or engineering degree) or equivalent practical experience. An understanding of user behavior analytics tools, SQL or similar tools for hands-on data analysis Passion for improving learning outcomes and teaching impact through technology.
