We serve mid-to-large enterprises across Africa and Europe, helping finance and procurement teams streamline their payment workflows and gain real-time visibility into spend.As we expand our footprint, we’re looking for a hands-on Product Marketing Lead who can own strategy, execution, and storytelling end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a builder environment, enjoys writing, content creation, and is comfortable wearing many hats. Role SummaryThe Product Marketing Lead will fully own positioning, messaging, content creation, and go-to-market strategy for PayEdge. You’ll work closely with the product, sales, and customer success teams to launch features, create all marketing materials, drive adoption, and support sales enablement with rich, customer-focused content.This is a doer role — you won't be handing off content to another team. You’ll write the copy, develop sales decks, script and coordinate video production, and drive lead generation campaigns with smart use of tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & PositioningDefine and refine product messaging that speaks directly to CFOs, procurement heads, and finance/IT teams.Own and execute competitor research, customer segmentation, and persona development.Translate technical product features into compelling business benefits.Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate complex platform features into clear, differentiated customer messaging.Develop and tailor personas, core value propositions, and GTM strategies for PayEdge’s three-sided ecosystem: Buyers, MSME Suppliers, and Funders.Content Creation & CopywritingWrite and create all marketing content: blogs, emails, product pages, one-pagers, whitepapers, LinkedIn posts, and ad copy.Develop scripts and coordinate production for explainer videos, customer testimonials, and product walkthroughs.Create clear and conversion-focused landing page copy for feature launches and campaigns.·      Collaborate with legal/compliance to develop marketing narratives reinforcing platform security, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.Go-to-Market & LaunchesBuild and execute end-to-end product and feature launch plans — including positioning, internal docs, FAQs, email campaigns, and external content.Coordinate with design and dev teams where needed to bring GTM assets to life.·      Design and execute vertical marketing strategies tailored to key industries, including FMCG, FSI, Utilities, Agribusiness, and others.Sales EnablementCreate and maintain sales decks, battle cards, use case summaries, and objection-handling docs.Train sales teams on messaging, personas, and product updates.Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to support sales prospecting with targeted messaging and insights.Demand Generation & Growth SupportCollaborate with marketing team to run targeted campaigns on LinkedIn, email, and paid channels.Optimize content for lead generation, signups, demo requests, and product activation.Build content series that educate, attract, and convert decision-makers in key industries.Customer Insight & Feedback LoopsCollect and analyze customer feedback to improve messaging and product-market fit.Identify, document, and share success stories, quotes, and real user impact for reuse in campaigns.Performance & ReportingTrack campaign and content performance metrics (e.g., engagement, MQLs, adoption).Use data to refine messaging and recommend next best actions to leadership. Requirements5+ years of hands-on product marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech.Excellent copywriting skills – from landing pages to sales decks to social media content.Strong experience launching features, writing GTM content, and driving adoption.Deep familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, buyer journeys, and enterprise sales motion.Comfortable working independently and executing fast with minimal hand-holding.Tools: Proficiency in Google Workspace, HubSpot or equivalent, Canva/Figma for layout, Notion, and video scripting tools.A portfolio of work showing content you've created and campaigns you've led is a strong plus.
