Product Owner

As an IT Product Owner, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver digital solutions that enhance business performance and efficiency. You will partner closely with Finance, HR, and technology teams to ensure that systems remain robust, secure, and future-ready. You’ll bring external insight, challenge the status quo, and mentor your team and partners to deliver exceptional outcomes.This role sits within the Corporate Systems IT function, which manages enterprise-wide platforms that support Finance and HR across all business units. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, offering continuous opportunities for innovation and improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of Business and Technical Analysts.Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.Identify and onboard new technology vendors and delivery partners.Oversee service delivery and quality assurance to maintain operational excellence.Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact projects.Develop and maintain the product roadmap, including upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.Plan and track budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.Deliver projects from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.Facilitate the smooth transition of projects into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.Support continuous improvement and process optimization within the IT and business teams.Manage delivery timelines and resource planning in collaboration with demand and capacity analysts.What Our Client Is Looking ForA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Proven experience in product ownership and/or business analysis (minimum 5 years).At least 5 years of experience in IT project or program delivery.Strong experience with innovation, digital transformation, and roadmap development.Budget ownership and financial planning experience.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience gathering, validating, and translating business requirements into technical deliverables.Strong vendor management and third-party partnership experience.Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA, and information security.A track record of successfully launching or enhancing digital products or enterprise systems.Why Join Our ClientOur client offers the opportunity to work within a forward-thinking organization that values innovation, sustainability, and continuous learning.
