Product Owner (Looking Immediate joiner)Location: Bangalore / Pune / Noida / HyderabadExperience: 10 16 years About the Role The Product Owner is a strategic leadership position accountable for shaping, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog to ensure alignment with the organization’s business objectives while maximizing customer value. Serving as the primary customer representative, the Product Owner collaborates closely with stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional partners to drive successful product development and lifecycle execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Vision & StrategyAdvocate for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.Perform market research to understand customer needs and uncover opportunities for expansion and improvement.Work with stakeholders to establish product priorities that support business targets.Bring experience delivering varied products such as internal systems, client solutions, and enterprise platforms across areas like HR, finance, and marketing.Emphasize innovation through new product development, platform upgrades, and ongoing feature enhancements.Define and track measurable KPIs, including adoption, NPS, and usage patterns, to evaluate product effectiveness and user engagement.Possess strong understanding of APIs, data models, and cloud technologies to collaborate closely with engineering teams.Contribute to go-to-market planning, user enablement, and roadmap execution aligned with business priorities.Product Backlog ManagementBuild and manage a detailed, transparent, and prioritized backlog that development teams can easily understand.Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements to support successful delivery.Continuously groom and update the backlog based on evolving business needs and priorities.Sprint Planning & ExecutionParticipate in sprint planning sessions, offering clarity on backlog items to development teams.Collaborate in estimating effort and developing realistic sprint plans.Ensure all team members clearly understand sprint goals and acceptance expectations.Stakeholder Communication & CollaborationRegularly share product vision, strategy, and development progress with stakeholders.Gather input from stakeholders and translate relevant feedback into product improvements.Maintain alignment and transparency by acting as the connection point between development teams and stakeholders.Product Acceptance & Release ManagementValidate and approve completed user stories based on acceptance criteria.Coordinate release planning and execution alongside development and supporting teams.Assess product performance after release and identify areas for refinement or improvement.Skills & Qualifications10+ years of professional experience, including a minimum of 6 years in product management, product ownership, or similar roles.Solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.Proven ability to define and prioritize product requirements effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Demonstrated success working collaboratively in team-oriented environments.Experience with tools like Jira or Confluence is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.CSPO certification is an added advantage.
