Description:Clune Tech is a world-leading provider of international taxation, finance, and fulfilment services to clients in over 100 countries ranging from blue-chip financial service companies to individual investors & cross-border workers.Sprintax, part of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software that provides a number of tax related services to non-residents in the United States. We help thousands of international visitors such as students, scholars, teachers, trainees, researchers, work and travel participants and other foreign individuals that are temporary in the United States each year with the preparation of their tax returns.About the role:Currently we are looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner to own execution and delivery for our Returns product. You'll work embedded with a cross-functional development team, partnering with the Product Manager to translate strategic priorities into shipped software. You'll manage the product backlog, ensure predictable delivery, and coordinate across stakeholders including domain experts, operations, support, and go-to-market teams.Responsibilities:Strategic Execution & Roadmap DeliveryPartner with Product Manager to translate strategic initiatives and quarterly priorities into executable delivery plansBreak down strategic initiatives into epics and user stories that the team can implementParticipate in quarterly planning to provide team capacity reality and feasibility inputReport progress on strategic initiatives and escalate risks that impact roadmap commitmentsProvide recommendations on scope, timeline, and approach to achieve strategic goalsDelivery & ExecutionOwn sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery for the product development teamMaintain a healthy backlog prioritized according to strategic direction from Product ManagerFacilitate refinement sessions with developers to clarify requirements and identify dependenciesTrack progress and communicate risks, blockers, and delivery status to Product Manager and stakeholdersAccept/reject completed work based on defined acceptance criteriaCoordinate releases and manage deployment schedulesRequirements & CollaborationWork with domain experts to validate requirements meet regulatory and compliance standardsPartner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support to gather input and understand business needsFacilitate working sessions to build shared understanding between business and technical teamsBe available to answer team questions and make decisions quickly to unblock progressEscalate scope changes, priority conflicts, or strategic questions to Product ManagerPlanning & EstimationFacilitate team estimation at sprint and quarterly planning levelsWork with Product Manager to determine what strategic initiatives fit within team capacityProvide effort estimates and technical feasibility input for new opportunitiesUse historical velocity data to set realistic commitments and improve predictabilityRequirements:Key Competencies:Extensive experience in product delivery, agile product ownership, or technical project managementProven track record shipping software products in cross-functional team environmentsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience managing backlogs and facilitating agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives)Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and managing ambiguityAbility to balance competing priorities and make pragmatic trade-offsExperience collaborating with Product Managers or business stakeholders on strategic executionPreferred Competencies:Experience in regulated industries (fintech, healthcare, tax/accounting, financial services)Exposure to compliance-driven product developmentBackground in technical roles or strong technical aptitudeExperience with mature products requiring ongoing maintenance and regulatory updatesScrum/Agile certifications (CSPO, PSM, or similar)Benefits:What’s in it for you?Flexible Working Policy with a combination of remote and office working*Multisport Cards22 Annual Leave Days for all employees plus additional days with length of serviceLifework days: ½ day each quarter to get your life work doneFlex hours where you can work your 40 hours across 4.5 daysAdditional Health Insurance including dental and vision careTeam Buildings & PartiesLife InsuranceRefer a Friend BonusDiscounts across various stores, theatres, restaurantsEmployee CSR Programme, CluneTech Cares, with one paid Volunteer Day per yearCluneTech Life – corporate wellness programMonthly Food VouchersCompany Paid Trainings & Learning Accounts#OneTeam Awards and Annual Employee of the Year AwardsMilestone Recognition ProgramFree Sports: Football, Tennis, VolleyballEmployee Assistance ProgramMeeting Free Days – a specific no meeting day where we encourage no meetings so you (and your team) can focus on getting things done!Are you ready to join our new team and help people from all over the world?If our job offer is what you are looking for, please apply today — we want to hear from you!
