This is a rare opportunity to work on complex, large-scale technology platforms that truly make an impact.Why this role is exciting:Work directly with software engineers in cross-functional squads, delivering tangible results every sprint.Lead and coach a small team of BAs, shaping the way products are built and delivered.Operate in a SaaS/start-up-style environment within a mature financial services context - think rapid innovation meets regulatory expertise.Work with cutting-edge technology and strong technical leadership to accelerate your career.What you'll be doing:Lead the delivery of product features and enhancements across technology platforms, ensuring practical, scalable, and high-quality outcomes.Collaborate directly with tech teams in agile squads to turn business requirements into actionable solutions.Manage a small team of BAs reporting directly to you, driving clarity, efficiency, and execution excellence.Leverage analytics and data to monitor product performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.Partner with stakeholders across the organisationAbout you:5+ years' experience as a Product Owner delivering complex technology solutions in financial services, retail, or commerce environmentsStrong technical BA, engineering, or similar technical background with experience working shoulder-to-shoulder with development teams.Proven experience combining financial services (banking, wealth management or superannuation experience is a plus) and non-financial commerce/retail (e-commerce platforms, or similar) is also advantageousComfortable in agile, cross-functional squads with a strong bias toward delivery and tangible results.Analytical, proactive, and able to influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.Experience in SAS scale-up environments or high-growth platforms is advantageous.Candidates must be based in Sydney with full work rights (PR or Citizen). This is a full-time permanent role and not open to day rate contractors.
