We shoot beautiful images in our in-house photo studios. Our product images should not only be recognisable, they should also look delicious and inspire our customers.As we look to the future, AI will play an increasingly vital role in optimizing our visual content, making our operations more scalable and future-proof, and freeing up our creatives to do what they love most: be creative.In this exciting combined role, you’ll blend your skills in both photography and retouching, taking full ownership of the visual workflow. Working together with experienced photographers, retouchers and category managers, you make sure that our customers will only see best-in-class product photos. Are you an experienced product photographer with excellent Photoshop skills and are you excited to contribute to our evolving visual strategy? Then we’re looking for you!Tricks of the tradeOwnership: Have responsibility for the product photography process, ensuring all deliverables are finished on timeFast-paced: Shoot and retouch high volume of products across many categories, from bakery to drugstore Quality: Produce high quality content that align with Picnic's guideline standards, as well as experiment with new photography and edits to improve our strategyLearn: Contribute actively to the transition we are making in visual content optimization using AI toolsConfiguration: ensure all images are correctly configured in our systemsEquipment: Maintain necessary camera tools, photography props and studio equipmentYour superpowersAt least 3 years of professional experience in e-commerce product photography Advanced technical skills, you are capable of independently building lighting setupsDemonstrated experience in handling high volume in-house photography workflows Experience with AI tools, or eager to learn more about using AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiencyExcellent knowledge of Photoshop and Capture One Great attention for detail, ability to notice the small but important thingsStrong portfolio with relevant product photography and Photoshop examplesDegree in a relevant photography or design field is an advantageDemonstrates flexibility and a can do mentality in a fast-paced work environmentGood English communication skills, verbal and writtenYou're based in the Netherlands to be able to work from our beautiful photo studio and office in AmsterdamPicnic perks 🥗Fresh Lunch, coffee, and snacksOur offices are equipped with fully-fledged coffee bars and a kitchen and chefs.
