Because why not do it all?Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDesign new and optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.Lead global projects to implement improvements.Analyse data, develop schedules, and build business cases.Oversee prototyping, testing, and forensic analysis.Create technical documentation and global standards.Provide guidance to Design-for-manufacturing Engineering.Support commercial teams in meeting customer needs.Keys to SuccessAcquires general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and ability to function on multidisciplinary teams. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the marketSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneRequirements And Preferred SkillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.5-7 years of engineering experience in product development.Advanced - Intermediate English Level. (Indispensable)Experience and knowledge in stainless steel handling. (Indispensable)Experience in manufacturing processes for machining stainless steel using CNC turning, milling, forming, stamping, etc. (Indispensable)Knowledge of materials and post treatments, i.e. Passivation.High precision, high volume micro component manufacturing experience would be advantageous.Willingness to travel.High precision, high volume micro component manufacturing experience.Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.Proficient in CAD (PTC Creo preferred).Knowledge of Six Sigma tools (SPC, DFMEA, FMEA, DOE).Ability to work with global teams and manage priorities.Strong analytical skills for data-driven decisionsHands-on capability in machining, or mechanical assemblyTrack record of starting up new manufacturing spaces, shops, or toolsets from scratchComfortable operating in an R&D-heavy environment with evolving requirementsExperience in Design to contribute to design for Manufacture.Supplier developmentFluent in reading and interpreting complex technical drawingsStrong grasp of production quality systems and documentationComfortable in both design reviews and on the shop floor—able to move seamlessly between themClear, direct communicator across technical and operational teamsHighly organized with a strong attention to detailWHY GATES?Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
