Product Service Engineer

Key Results Areas:Primary Deliveries• To liaise with the manufacturer (CEAS, etc) related to product testing, troubleshooting of products, bug solving, and other related matters.• To perform product testing for DKI components products (FlexLincBC, FlexNode, etc).• Serve as a product specialist for DKI components products (FlexLincBC, FlexNode, etc)• To assist the sales team, project team, and central call center team on any issue about the DKI components products (FlexLinc, FlexNode, etc).• Provide necessary testing updates/reports to the server/confluence/Jira for easy checking.• Update the issue raised by customers, central call center engineer, PDS team into the confluence/JIRA tracking sheet.• Update the user manual related to the DKI components products.• Provide necessary information and data to Senior Manager - Engineering & Services / Product Manager for weekly reporting.• To provide internal training to different departments and external training to customers.Project Deliveries• To document testing documentation, the scope of work,and technical specification• To document FAT & SAT testing documentation, scope of work and technical specifications.• On-site management including sub-contractor coordination, installation supervision, system commissioning (SAT), customer operation & maintenance training• To provide project engineering services such aso System architecture design & configurationo Drafting (electrical, schematic diagram, system architecture, &, etc.)o Loading skid, controller, metering & instrument, pump skid, Omega TAS, PLC, and SCADAcommissioning.o Ensure technical requirements and tasks are completed within allocated mandays and schedule.o Documentation as per projects requirements.o Development and testing as per projects requirements.o Ensure technical requirements and tasks are completed within allocated mandays and schedule.Project Management• Assist Project Manager to identify project engineering and delivery.• Keep track of project schedule, plan vs actual.• Provide technical support and verification during the procurement stage.• Manage project services and resources to meet the needs of clientele• Assist the Project Manager to check the Bill of Material to ensure that the equipment / instrument to be purchase is as per company / customers / international safety standards.• Provide reporting as per Project Manager requirements on-site.• Assist to identify systems specifications, engineering and deliverables for projects.• Providing technical and procuring support for projects.Technical Support to Sales & Marketing• Site visit for technical scope• Produce product drawing for sales supportAssist Field Services Department with onsite/offsite troubleshooting and services• To support the CCC helpdesk with technical advice & product knowledge and if needed during off hours.• To support the Field Services department for onsite services work during resources constraint.• To assist in the sales of technical products to the customers.Key Success Indicators:The following key success factors will apply:• Team building, including alignment of objectives within team, and motivation and focus of team members• High skill level in identifying strengths and limitations in others especially team members, in order to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and with opportunity for personal development• Interaction – through collaboration, communication, knowledge sharing, planning, effective interpersonal relationshipsPersonal Attributes:• Demonstrated leadership experience and skills, with evidence of successful team-building, collaboration and team motivation• Strong Customer focus and inter-personal skills• Excellent communication skills, including (but not limited to) excellent capacity to listen, and to distil key information and gaps.• High levels of personal resilience and motivation• High capacity for coaching and mentoring others, within context of other challenging operational deliverables• Dynamic, confident, proactive personality• Tolerance for ambiguity, yet decisive, and clear in thinking.• Professionally presented• Willing to take ownership of issue and see through to end• Able to work independently and deal with ambiguity• Creative• Strong organizational skillsBusiness Travel:The job role will require often travel locally, inter-province and from time to time internationally. Estimated percent of job role for travel is up to 50% though this may vary at company discretion. Travel time, in certain instances may include weekends. All business travel is subject to company policy at all times.
