References to KKR’s investments may include the activities of its sponsored funds and insurance subsidiaries.Team OverviewThe Credit Strategies Team (“CST”) is a group of over 25 product strategists spread across Dublin, New York and San Francisco. The team focuses exclusively on the firm’s credit platform with core responsibilities including fundraising, servicing and structuring credit funds, as well as maintaining relationships with some of the world’s largest institutional investors (pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and family offices). The CST is part of the firm’s broader investor relations team, KKR Global Client Solutions (“KCS”), which currently has ~280 employees.Position SummaryThe CST is seeking a professional to be based in Dublin to focus on global credit-oriented products and markets. The successful candidate will be part of a team which leads fundraising activities and will also be responsible for owning marketing materials, developing thought leadership and leading investor diligence processes. Members of the CST collaborate closely with several teams across KKR including senior firm leadership, portfolio managers, investment teams, relationship managers and back-office teams. This role is a unique opportunity to become part of a growing and strategic team.Ideal ExperienceA successful candidate typically will have at least ~5+ years of experience with a background in corporate finance/transaction services, investment banking or capital markets. Ideally, the candidate will also demonstrate an ability to gain a strong understanding of credit markets dynamics, with a specific focus on the sub-investment grade credit market.Responsibilities Partner with senior team members on fundraising, servicing and structuring fundsMaintain an open dialogue with investors and provide ongoing investor support on a periodic or ad-hoc basisWork closely with:KKR’s Relationship Managers to support KKR’s investor relationships and fundraising activitiesPortfolio managers and deal teams to understand the current portfolio, deal pipeline and overall market dynamicsFinance/Operations/Legal/Compliance professionals for ongoing fund reporting and communicationsCreate and update content for client updates presentations, marketing decks and new business proposalsWork with an internal team to complete tenders/Due Diligence Questionnaires for potential new clients across credit while leading investor diligence processesCRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESSExcellent communication skills and prior client-facing experienceTechnical and aesthetic mastery of PowerPoint and Excel (including a working level of financial modelling)Aptitude for critical and creative thinking across the quantitative and qualitative spectrum including clear skills in data analysis and ability to disseminate information from dataMeticulous organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detailTeam-oriented, honest and reliable with high integrityBias for action – enthusiastic quick learner with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivation/proactivityProven ability to manage demands of multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently and handle heavy workloads while maintaining consistent attention to detailOutstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and independently assess information/situations from varying perspectives and tailor messages to suit different audiencesAbility to make sound judgements and simultaneously manage various issues and projects in a fast-paced and high performance environment.Maturity, presence, sound judgment, and ability to form and express opinions effectively to cross-divisional teams including senior management and key internal stakeholdersStrong relationship development skills, including over the phone with global teams and with individuals of whom work is being requestedStrong finance or business background with relevant financial qualifications – ACA or CFA, etc.KKR is an equal opportunity employer.
