Founded in 1867, the company today has around 22,000 employees, sales of € 5,2 billion and locations in over 60 countries worldwide and is thus one of the larger family-owned companies in Europe.Support the Voith Group | Voith Hydro as aProduct Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) Job ID 77085 | Worldwide - outside of Germany and AustriaYour tasksPerforming Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations and Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for selected products.Continuously improving data quality, tools, and methodologies of PCF calculations by collaborating closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers.Embedding eco-design and circularity principles into product engineering and design processes to identify and assess design alternatives that reduce environmental impact without compromising performance and costs.Collaborating with the procurement team to define and implement supplier sustainability requirements to support product sustainability assessments and regulatory compliance.Identifying and supporting sustainability-driven product and business innovations, such as low-carbon materials, circular design strategies, and energy-saving technologies.Serving as the internal champion for product sustainability, raising awareness and building competence across teams.Monitoring product sustainability trends, risks, and opportunities and contributing to corporate sustainability reporting.Your ProfileMaster’s degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Sustainability Management, or a related technical field.Ideally, you have knowledge of our products and engineering processes and already have experience in a similar position.Strategic thinking and passion for bringing sustainability from concept to implementation.Hands-on experience with LCA tools or PCF calculators is a plus.Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, procurement, compliance, sales) in a complex industrial environment.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in English.This position can be filled at any of our global Voith Hydro locations (except Germany and Austria).
