Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.PRODUCTION COORDINATOR, MATERIALS LABSThe Production Control Coordinator is a critical position within our team. This role is responsible for serving as a liaison between our internal lab team and the customers (we support requests from every program at the company) we support, ensuring that materials and test articles flow smoothly through the lab to meet stringent deadlines and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesMonitor, track, and move parts as required through the company to ensure timely delivery to next production locationEnsure parts are handled, packaged and protected properly within SpaceX specificationsEnsure that scans and location accuracy is maintained within the shop and SpaceX’s ERP systemCoordinate with supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery of piece parts and outside services as requiredWork with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure ERP data is and remains clean and accurateAssist with resolution of incorrect system data which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failureDevelop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables and constraints as required for internal and customer useSupport logistics process through innovative staging of workflow as requiredSupport management of material certifications as required – prevent use of un-certified materialsInterface and coordinate with outsource vendors for any external material testingBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate1+ years of experience supporting administrative processesPreferred Skills And Experience3+ years of experience handling parts in a manufacturing settingStrong computer skills and familiar MS Office SuiteBachelor’s degreeExperience in organizing files and documentsInventory experienceExperience with MRP/ERP systemsExperience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environmentsSQL and Tableau experienceAPICS certificationAdditional RequirementsMust be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as neededNominal hours – 1st shift (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM)Able to lift 25 lbs. unassistedAble to stand for extended periods – 8 hours minCompensation And BenefitsPay range:Level 1: $22.00 - $24.50/hourLevel 2: $24.00 - $27.00/hourLevel 3: $26.00 - $30.00/hourYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
